Shore power for inland shipping
/
ROGER is involved in the development of shore power based on fuel cells in places where there is no grid connection or limited grid capacity. Moored at the quay, vessels still use their generators for the energy required on board. Fossil-fueled generators emit particulate matter, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. Shore-based power, based on green hydrogen, makes reducing these emissions possible by providing a clean energy source for these vessels.
ROGER develops, realizes, owns, and operates production plants in places with abundant renewable energy and hydrogen offtake in the same region. Interested to partner with ROGER in the development of hydrogen production? Contact us today.
